Isko dekho to sahi mard banta hai | Hindi Poem | Learn What I Know

Introduction

This poem is a raw and powerful reflection on society's misconceptions about what it means to be a "real man." It came to me during a moment of deep contemplation, a time when I found myself frustrated with the idea of masculinity that many blindly follow. Through these words, I wanted to express the hypocrisy and double standards that often define how we perceive strength, respect, and empathy.

The verses are meant to shine a light on the arrogance and ignorance of those who believe they can dominate or disrespect others in the name of power. It holds up a mirror to false pride and toxic behavior, challenging the idea that respect can be earned through aggression and intimidation. This poem aims to question these misguided notions, calling for a deeper understanding of what truly makes someone "strong" or "manly."

At its core, this poem is deeply personal, serving as a mirror for my own self-reflection. It was born from my need to confront uncomfortable truths about myself and the world around me. I wrote it to challenge not just society’s standards but also my own actions, beliefs, and attitudes that I observed within me and in those around me.

These words were not just meant to critique others—they were meant for me, a reminder that true strength isn't about the image we project but about what we hold ourselves accountable for. This poem is my way of exploring the dualities of strength and vulnerability, pride and compassion, and of asking myself the difficult questions that often go unanswered. I hope these verses resonate with you and provoke thought on the deeper values of empathy, understanding, and respect for all.

Isko dekho to sahi mard banta hai,

Isko dekho to sahi mard banta hai,
Har kisi ke dil me uthne wala dard Banta hai

Kamjor ko satata hai,
Aurat pe hath uthata hai.

Rona isko iske saan ke khilaf lagta hai,
Fir bhi haste ko rulata hai.

Bukhe ke muh ka niwala cheenta hai,
Gareeb ka haq Marta hai.

Maa bhen ko bhi maa bhen ki galiyan bakta hai,
Aur sareaam parivar ka tamasha banwata hai.

Fir bhi usko lagta hai is tarha wo sabka ka hamdard banta hai,
Isko dekho to sahi ye mard banta hai.

Har ladki isko apne baap maal lagte hai,
Iske samjh ke bahar ki bate isko bawal lagte hai.

Fir bhi isko har jagha ungli karne me maja ata hai,
Aur wahi ungli koi isko wapas kar de to ye chid jata.

Bina mausam padne wali ye sard banta hai,
Isko dekho to sahi ye bda mard Banta hai.

Pahchaan iski ye andho me kana banega,
koi isko Jo samjhaye to ye dedh sada banega.

Apno ki zindagi pe padi ye bekar si gard( dhool) banta hai,
Isko dekho to sahi ye bada mard banta hai!

Hydrophobic vs Hydrophilic human traits: Understanding your personality | Learn what I know

Header image I'm the kind of person who is attracted to cheerful, playful, and humorous energy (intelligence with a dash of wit is a cherry on top). Often, when I don't find it, it turns me off. I feel odd, experiencing a mix of emotions—happy, sad, thoughtful, and scared all at once. Loud noises, shouting, and taunting make me uncomfortable. I get scared so easily now that it's hard to open up to anyone. I just want to keep suffocating and wish I could disappear. But something inside keeps asking for one more push to move on. And here I am, sitting and thinking the same thing over and over. I get scared. I just want to suffocate and disappear, but I can't help it. I have a life to live, even though I don't want to, but I have to. Maybe I'll save that for the end. One day, when you look back, you may realize that maybe it wasn't a love story, but a true story. Does it feel like something you’ve always wanted to share with the world ...
